With new linkage bearings the linkage moves smoothly and without play again, and the rear suspension responds cleanly. Fresh grease at installation helps protect the bearings against water and dirt.

During the overhaul, replace bearings and seals as completely as possible. Clean all bearing points carefully and grease needle bearings, sleeves, axles and contact surfaces with a water-resistant bearing grease before assembly.
